I just got it pushed to my phone. Can't say much about it yet except it worked ok. Only thing so far I have noticed is Swype doesn't seem to work now but I will do more checking.

HTC have said "Beginning of Q3" for 2.2 on the Desire..

Which really means end of September, probably.

My OTA update came at 1am this morning. Worth being woken for.
I have been watching Flash on my N1 for most of this morning, frickin sweet. The update didn't take as long as I thought it would, but I might have been drifting in and out of consciousness at the time.

An update. I delete Swype and the installer, went to the Swype web site and grabbed the installer again and ran it. It prompted me to logon which I did, download Swype again and install it and this time it worked fine.

So far the update is going fine - I haven't seen any differences yet but I haven't also done Flash.

Last night for some reason I went through ~50MB worth of data while I slept. I got 1 email, and have two Google accounts sync'ing. Dunno why, but this is running CM6-Alpha1. Don't believe anything was set to update :-/

Wouldn't an OTA update chew through your monthly 3G data allowance, if you weren't on WiFi? Or do they only deploy via WiFi?

My Nexus 1 still hasn't upgraded. I am using the version that works on Telecom XT. Don't usually use wifi.

Anything I can do to make it update, or do I just have to be patient?

You can download the files to the SD card and force an update without rooting, can't you?

I'm on XT with my N1 but the update was through wifi. I'm sure the 2.2 update will be out to you soon OTA, my build number is now FRF91. But if you go to youtube there are some basic tutorials on how to update through your SD card. Then download the Flash app and enjoy.

...Library offers free wifi data???

Anyways I have Big Time at home, not concerned too much about data use personally unless it's over 3G.

Basically I had an alert this morning since I rolled back last night to vanilla rooted FRF85B (was on CM6 Alpha 1) after insane 3G data use (200MB in approx 3 days that I can't account for), and it was trying to update me to FRF91 I presume, as it was only 900KB. Naturally it failed because I was using a rooted vanilla ROM.

I wonder if it's possible it was trying to do a "complete" upgrade with a 60MB-odd firmware file on a daily basis for the 3-4 days that I had CM6 on my phone?

Just about to grab the full FRF91 here:
http://htcpedia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3033

I've been using lox previous release of FRF85B and it seems much "safer" than CM6 at this point :)

Finally got the update on Sunday evening. I must have been one of the last for some reason.

Loving the wifi hotspot feature. Right now I am typing this on a friends iPad connected to the nexus one via wifi.

Hi guys,

I got my Nexus One on Sunday...and have been waiting for an OTA ever since but to no avail.

I tried to manually update the firmware, however I got the Authentication error. Searching on Google seemed to suggest that it failed because I have a Euro version of Nexus One running firmware version EPF21B.

Is a Euro version of the firmware out now?

When trying to update, I selected 'Recovery' as I watched a tutorial on YouTube. However, a forum post that I stumbled upon suggested to select 'Bootloader'.

Which one should I select?
