Thanks info doing update now

Yes, thanks. Installing now (s22u).
The update log says "Provide alternate game performance management mode"
Where are the settings to actually change things? Are we able to manually choose which apps Game Booster should optimise, and remove apps we don't want 'throttled' ?
I don't see settings anywhere.

If you go into the app Game Launcher, then "more", "Game Booster", "Labs", there is a toggle to turn "alternate game performance management" on. I haven't found a way to do it on a per-app basis yet.
Sorry to break the conversation but, Is there anyone who is still waiting for their device for almost a month now....
This is very frustrating. Ordered on 4th March and the order says - "Processing"...

I think a lot of us in this thread purchased the phones during pre-order which began in February however Samsung may be having stock supply issues.
Having said that, have you clicked on your order to view its status which may be different to 'Processing'?

Yes, I actually have 2 orders - both of them show Processing on the outside as well as in the details. I have tried to chat and get in touch with Samsung like twice everyday for the last two weeks but to no news. All they say is that they have escalated the issue and will be in touch soon. Not sure what 'soon' means to them

Yep I'm in same boat, ordered 20th Feb. At the time website said ships 17th Mar.
No comms from Samsung. Reached out to Estore via email they said stock was arriving last week. Obviously not happened.
Asked them if could upgrade to in stock 512GB model & pay difference, but their system won't allow.
Nice to know that at least they replied back to you reaching out. There might be people like me who have been completely ignored in terms of communicating that your order is delayed. I am aware that many people have actually bought the phone on the same day, which literally mocks us all who have ordered early in the hopes of getting the device early.
I wouldn't exactly call this a paper launch. I just don't think Samsung understood how much people really loved the Note line up and when you combine both the Note features into the best S series flagship that Samsung offers. You get results like that and some people not getting their order in time.
There are still issues with freight around the world because we're still living in some what of a pandemic but hey at least it's got a solid chance of probably being the most sold device that Samsung has ever made.
I'd call the S22 Ultra probably one of the most demanding launches we've had in a decade maybe?
Ramblings from a mysterious lady who's into tech. Warning I may often create zingers.

This is definitely true.
I, however, now see this as a connected, but slightly different problem. It is about promising a delivery to your customers, who pay the whole amount upfront, and then not even communicating when the order is delayed - that too by almost 2 weeks now. A company like Samsung must have anticipated the issues accompanying Covid and chip-supply shortages worldwide and hence should not have promised to deliver by this date when they couldn't. Top it off with zero communication, internal "escalation" of this issue with no transparency to the customer and assuming that Samsung patrons will be OK with all of this. This issue is about a big company - who should be capable of delivering on their promises - misleading their loyal customers with dates and vague communication at best.
What hurts more is that it is available outright via different stores - today. This is from PBTech

I can agree with your points above. Service from them was less than satisfactory, device shortages and shipping delays aside. See my other posts in this thread.
I've received my devices but not sure I'd like to deal with them again, even some of the seniors who did nothing to actually solve my problems.

I have to wait it out this time as I have no choice, but my time dealing with them is done!. I would prefer the likes of PBTech or others in the future if I want to deal with Samsung devices, mainly because I believe they will at least be easier to reach and be more helpful
Happy we got the the snapdragon variant as seems to be a lot of people complaining about Exynos variant this time think i seen on reddit forum and this
Samsung delivered the worst Exynos flagship in recent times - SamMobile
