Happy we got the the snapdragon variant as seems to be a lot of people complaining about Exynos variant this time think i seen on reddit forum and this

Samsung delivered the worst Exynos flagship in recent times - SamMobile

So glad we are on the right side of the ledger this time! Let's hope it stays that way.

Latest update from Samsung for those waiting on their S22 device.

"Unfortunately, there is a delay on the arrival of the S22 Ultra units which is why the order has not moved yet. We are expecting these to arrive end of next week and will be dispatched after. This applies to all customers with pending S22 series orders.

Our higher management is aware of this delay and please know we are trying our best to bring you the stock at the earliest time possible."

I think the orders have been so much delayed that Samsung should compensate for this - for the damage they have caused. While the delay in the orders in understandable, what is not acceptable is them misleading us about the delivery and no clear communication as well. I for one am really expecting them to do something to address our frustration due to their fault.

Does anyone have problems with the fingerprint reader with a screen protector on? I didn't buy a brand name screen protector and think I might regret the decision as the fingerprint reader is patchy at best..

Have you tried deleting and re-adding the fingerprints after screen protector is installed?

Also try turning on touch sensitivity.

Not restricted to non-brand name protectors.  I went for one of the better recommended ones (Zagg InvisibleShield Fusion XTR) and that has significantly impacted the fingerprint reader.  Patchy is a pretty good description.  Often requires 3 - 4 attempts to recognise my fingerprint.

Haven't tried re-adding the fingerprint after the screen protector was installed yet.  But I seem to recall recommendation at the time to register fingerprints before adding a screen protector?

"The damage they have caused"? 😂 That was a good one mate, quite dramatic 😅

How are people finding the camera? Particularly interested in hearing from the 22+ owners please as that's what I'm running but would find it interesting to hear some thoughts about the others please

Perhaps I need to spend some quality time playing around with the manual settings to get the most out of it... So far the camera in general, mid to low light around the house has been ok. Super close ups by having the camera physically close to the subject is pretty decent and zooming in feels just OK and I haven't done much outdoors during the day yet. The detail enhancer function seems negligible but this is probably from my lack of know how. Perhaps coming from a 4 yr old phone my expectations were too high...

All the camera media & marketing online is regarding the Ultra which is very understandable. And ultimately if the camera was one of the main factors when upgrading maybe I would have gone Ultra... Definitely becoming more curious anyhow. I've not owned a note or anything physically the Ultra size before and so felt a little put off going that big but having ran the + for a few weeks now the Ultra possibly wouldn't feel crazy excessive

Thanks and looking forward to reading some feedback!

Have you set tried changing to the 108MP option in the aspect ratio settings?

Also you can try the new ExpertRAW app they released to get fine grain controls and RAW output.

Cool thanks for that suggestion, I've just got the ExpertRaw app now so will have a play around!

Regarding the aspect ratio I can do 3:4 (50MP) on the 22+.

The camera on the S22 Ultra has been amazingly good from my perspective coming from a Note 9.

No complaints whatsoever, and a massive upgrade for me.

Same here, but from an S8, which I think did remarkably well, but the 22U is next level (actually, probably like 2 or 2.5 levels)
