Pbtech are selling it as "NZ New" so I assume that means an NZ warranty and not a parallel import-send it back to China to be repaired- one?
May have to pop into the store for a look-see.

I'm 80% sure its NZ stock, since it has the Aussie's consumer guarantees act sticker on the box. It also comes with a NZ AC plug.

Has anyone managed to purchase one from overseas with Youshop?

Motorola.com have them online but from what I read they will cancel your order.

Bestbuy have them but they currently aren't shipping, store pickup only. I believe they will cancel youshop addresses as well.

Verzion Wireless have them available to order online shipping 5-Dec. Not sure if I’d get it through Youshop.

I have a friend travelling in the US and returning on the 15th. I was wondering if I could do an order with Bestbuy and get her to collect it from the closest shop but whether I could get it done before she leaves is another issue.  She isn't tech savvy at all and I wouldn't trust her getting the right watch if I just got her to purchase one from a shop herself...  Her daughter lives in the US so may be able to get her to pickup from bestbuy and ship it to my Youshop account and pay her for the domestic postage.

Otherwise I might wait till after xmas to see if the demand has dropped?

So after a lot of looking and waiting I ended up ordering the sony smart watch 3 (which is currently on its way here), I think I like the shape better, has GPS and NFC and a bigger battery.
It cost me about $380 to get it here.
Will cancel my pre order for the black 360 tomorrow and get a refund of the $40 I put down.

Saying that I also ordered a few screen protectors for the 360 so will post when those turn up and some can have them.

Gee it sure is big when you put it on your wrist! Tried one at PBTech, looked a bit like a jam jar lid on my wrist initially, but got used to it. I assume there is an optimum size to make Wear usable. But I now think I'm going to wait until I can see the LG GWR and the ZenWatch in the flesh before taking the plunge.

I walked into Noel Leeming Dunedin today and picked up one of the two silver and stone units they had in stock. It has turned out to be surprisingly useful. I am very happy with it. A black strap may improve the look but the stone band is growing on me.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago when I was in the US (Black version).  So far battery life has been acceptable.  It comes off the charger at 07:00 every day.  Gets notifications throughout the day from three email accounts, FB and Google Now and typically has 30-40% left at 23:00.

Coming from a Pebble the battery life was the only thing I was concerned about but my phone dies before my watch ;)

As an aside Facer and WatchMaker are worth the few bucks you spend on them if you want to play with creating your own watch faces.
