Just finished installing 5.0.1 update on telecom..
works mint, massive difference.. no lag (so far)..
Don't like the way chrome won't let you change tabs by swiping.. (which I've now just discovered you can turn off :D )
Overall.. seems to be pretty good..

Updated because it offered it to me. Looks slightly different. Other big changes:

- Still makes and receives phone calls
- Still sends and received text messages
- Mobile data still works
- Web browsing still works
- My apps still work
- I don't notice a difference in the speed of anything (it was great before, it's great now)

So yeah, totally worthwhile getting uptight about not having a few hours/days/week earlier than might conceivably have been possible.

Cheers - N

I definitely noticed a much smoother experience and a significant speed increase. Hangouts doesnt lag for 2-3 seconds each time you load it (hurrah!) and the over-the-top animations are easily toned down via Developer Options -> Window animation scale/Animator duration scale/Transition animation scale all set to 0.5.
Really pleased with my Note 4 now.

I was looking forward to making use of lollipop's trusted places function, but I don't see it in this 5.0.1 update.

I have screen locked enabled and the latest version of Google Play Services. Both of these are required for trusted places to show in settings, but I see nothing.

Let me know if it's the same for you.

It's there on my G model running BOC5 ... I have yet to load my wife's U model as I had not the official ROM installed. Will do over the weekend. But follow this steps ... it's there ...
