Dingbatt: Did they say if the other colours would be available here as well?
If you want a reviewer for the M9 as you have done for the previous models, I'm in.

And I see HTC are offering Uh Oh guarantees in the US where they will replace a damaged M9 within the first 12 months. I wonder if that will be offered here as well?

I think initially, the program is only to be offered in the US. It will make its way to other countries over time but not in the foreseeable future.

That being said, I can't wait to have access to a program like this.

Our reviews devices got an update this weekend. I have not tested these performance benchmark because... I rather see how it "feels" when using my daily apps. And yes, you can feel the difference between the M7, M8 and M9.

How's the camera? Early reviews, even with the update say it's pretty average.

I posted a photo in the previous page. It is amazing. Not Lumia 1020 amazing but leaves other Android devices behind.

Really? Even the note 4? Everywhere saying it's average at best.

This is a good collation of all reviews. Pretty much all saying the same thing. Looks great, big flaws, average camera

I'm glad I have no time scale for the purchase of a new phone. Some time for real world usage for the M9 and its competitors should bring out the true pros/cons for each handset.
I'm afraid that the purchase cost of a handset will also enter into any purchase decision I make. I initially went down the android road because I couldn't justify $1000+ for an iPhone. So an M9 for $800ish on sale (historically quickly discounted) will need to be compared with an S6 at $1100 (not discounted as readily). The question will be is the lacklustre camera worth saving $300? I also note one comment in the linked thread said people don't care about the ir blaster, FM radio and front stereo speakers. I do care about those features as I use all three extensively on my M7.

Having just watched "The Men Who Made Us Spend" on BBC Knowledge maybe I should just keep my M7 until it becomes unusable and avoid 'upgrade anxiety'.

some of those reviewers are probably going to say how great the Samsung S6 is... Also most gave it a 80% rating or higher, so not as bad as some may think.

Last thing I bought purely on a reviewer's recommendation was a Sharp VCR. It was terrible.
The disconnect between a reviewer's comments and his rating is also discussed.
