Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.
OOOHHHH HYPERFIBRE!

Create Profiles, Limit Functionality
Add users
You can now create custom and guest profiles in the latest Android update. Swipe down on your notifications bar and tap the profile icon in the top right hand corner to view the user profiles currently available. If you haven’t used this before, you will see your own profile and the option to log in as a guest or create a new profile. Logging in as a guest is a quick way to share your device with limited functionality - perhaps if you’re loaning your phone to a friend or a co-worker for a few hours. Creating a new profile however will provide the user with their own space, which can be customised with more features that are not available in a guest profile.

old3eyes: My wife's Nexus 7 , 2012 model got the update at the weekend. Wow what an improvement to performance. Nearly back to what it was like when new. The only issue she has and has had since Lollipop arrived is that the NZ Herald app was a dog, need to clear cache out every day or two. I uninstalled it but can't find it in the app store any more only the NZ Herald RSS feed app.. Installed that but not as good as the original..

I take back what I said here. Now after a couple of weeks it's running it's worse than ever. I'm sure a snail can go faster. It was fine from the day it was bought up to version 4.4.4 but when it got version 5 that's when it was all down hill.
Ready to put it in the tip. Will most likely buy her a new one for her birthday in July if she can wait that long. My old Samsung TAB 2, 10" runs way better on something like 4.2.0

I read somewhere that performance issues like this are not unknown, apparently if you factory reset the unit this can help.
