I'm going for the Edge in black or sliver. Can't decide on the colour just yet and it's doing my head in.
Also a report I just read is saying that the Korean and Chinese S7 will have the Samsung branding removed from the front of the phone. I hope that's the case for the NZ models too!
Vodafone pricing for open term plans separates the monthly phone price from plan.
S7 comes in at $987 and Edge at $1,179.

The black is true black this time, and a black phone always looks great, plus it has the benefit of a less reflective front panel for viewing the screen.
But damn the gold platinum (or silver as it looks to me) just looks like a million bucks, so I think it will win the day.

I saw that and notice that those prices are substantially cheaper than Sparks and 2 Degrees pricing - which are just over $200 more expensive per phone.
I wonder if the prices difference is because of the extra bonus that spark and 2degrees give.
Still not really a bonus when you are paying for it.
i ve got the note 5 gold (will be up for sale soon ) just a little to blinge for daytime, just shines bit to much i say,i watch bit of netflix on it. darker background be better.
even thou i don't mind it , i thought i do a change from the traditional black i ve always chosen .

I've pre ordered a Black Onyx S7 and am looking forward to it arriving. No idea if I was early enough to pick up a Gear VR but time will tell I suppose. Now I just need to justify it.

Ok, done a complete flip on colour. After more you tube viewings, the silver is just to reflective and shiny, esp the back panel. Black it is I think.
hands on camera samples finally shown up, they look pretty good . i must say

Yeah I saw those this morning. The low light shots are definitely impressive for a mobile phone camera. There's still a fair bit of obvious noise reduction if you look closely but that's to be expected.
A converted iPhone user here. I'm happy to say that'll I'll be upgrading to a S7, probably in gold (stereotypical of an iPhone user right?).
A quick question incase anyone knows, does 2degrees offer a free Samsung VR like Spark does?

no they don't but you can get it on the$49 plan, Spark you have to go $59
Galaxy S10
Garmin Fenix 5
I can not wait to get my hands on this phone. Finally, a phone that has every feature I've wanted in one device. IP68 waterproofing, premium build materials, big sensor low light camera, Qi and powermat wireless charging, 4GB RAM, 14nm SoC, microSD expansion, QHD AMOLED. 2 more weeks to go...

Did you mean that they give the the gear VR on the 49 plan or that they don't give it but do have a pre order on the phone?
I spoke with 2degrees today (I'm with them currently), they don't give anything except the 6gb of free data over 6 months.
I switched over to Vodafone today as the phone is $200 less than spark or 2degrees, they also provide you with a 64GB MicroSD card.
Their basic Red+ plan ($59.99 also comes with free 2gb data every month for 12 months).
This made it the instant winner.
I will never go with spark due to their plans not supporting calling to Australia which takes the Gear VR out of the equation :(

Could you explain where you get the 200 dollars less figure from?
By my math (and correct me if I am wrong) these are how the two phones and plans differ:
2degrees
Plan 49.95 + Phone 49 = 98.95
98.95 * 24 Months = 2374.80
2374.80 + One off fee 29 = $2403.80
Vodafone
Plan 59.99 + Phone 37 = 96.99
96.99 * 24 Months = 2327.76
2327.76 + One off fee 99 = $2426.76
Granted, you get an extra 2 gigs of data with Vodafone and a free SD card. However, for those looking for the cheapest plan, surely 2degrees would be a better option?
