freitasm: I have one waiting for me in the office since Wed but I worked from home the whole week... Collecting it today.

Hmmm. I have to call you out on this one @freitasm. Are you really a geek? Leaving brand new hardware at the office all week is a crime.... yell

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

nzskater: Thanks for that. Retard moment on my part; looked at the product on their site and not through the site itself.

A pity about the colours available - would order one of it came in blue.

The green look very nice in real life. It also has the hyper-optical display pattern.

Btw I made a little video showing the.4k AIS in action.
There is quite a bit of warping at the edges especially when i am turning (which doesn't happen when I am filming with the ultra wide angle lens) but I am pretty impressed by the AIS otherwise and hopefully they can minimise the warping effect in future firmware

Just received this also and thought I'd pop it onto YouTube as an unlisted video for everyone here to enjoy as it is quite neat.

"To celebrate the launch of their new Mate 20 Series smartphones Huawei lit up the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, yesterday."

Green doesn't look great in photos, but it looks a lot better in real life.

Annoying that NZ never gets that twilight colour though.

Nova3 has twilight.

But for Mate 20 Pro, I've compared the two side by side...  green looks better than twilight in my opinion. Also green has the new hyper-optical display pattern finish which the twilight doesn't have

I do not warm to marketing terms. Hyper-optical hyperbolic noise.

Will go check out the green today at some point.

I've asked the product folk here, they have told me it's got no banding in it.

The Mate 20 Pro I just looked at in Noel Leeming looked like it was blue. Strange because I thought we were only getting green or black.
Just a dual SIM tray that can be used for 2 X SIMs or 1xSIM + 1 SD Card. When I asked about nano-SD all I got was a blank stare. Hopefully 128GB internal would be enough anyway.
