Just got picked up from Auckland South. On the way to depot. ETA says Sep 6th. Let's see. I'm in Wellington.

My case (offical case with S-Pen from PBTech) got delivered this afternoon. 3 days from notification of shipping. This is despite it not being officially released until 9 Sep.

I’m not getting excited though, my phone is from a different retailer (NL) for shop pickup. Because I’m in lockdown central I don’t know when I’m likely to actually get my phone. What would be great is if someone at Noel Leeming recognises this and offers a courier option for my ‘essential item’. Otherwise the wait will be until level 3 for click and collect, or level 2 for a shop visit.

Mine's in Wiri right now. ETA still says Sep 6th, even though most packages with NZ Post get delivered next day from Auckland to Wellington. Will keep you posted.

Flip3 cases just arrived! Very quick turnaround for level 4. Hoping for the same with the phone - the cases look much better in person and can't wait to give the phone a go 😁

Happy new phones day boys.  It looks like a great release, would get one if it wasn't the off year for phone purchases for me.

I did get mine yesterday, been using it for last 24 hours. Being my first foldable phone, definitely something that needs getting used to.

So... time for bad news.

PB is *not* sending out their *pre-orders* from this week.

A delay of a week means they will be sent from next Friday.

Sucks that while Aussies and some Kiwis are already enjoying their new toys, those who went with PB's 'pre-orders' are left with nothing for another week.

Is it a big deal? No.

But it sucks.

Why 'effen' make a promise of a pre-order when you can't keep it?

Yes just got the email as well.  Sure I want it on release day (9th) but now need to wait till the 17th.  Hold up with international logistics as per their email.  I'm not going to get mad or upset over it, the way things are in auckland etc at the moment a week is nothing major.  Plus I am just glad that they can still send "some" orders out in level 3/4 etc and keep safe doing it.  Would rather have a week delay than people breaking level 4 safety in the warehouse etc.

They do however needs to update their website to show the delay, looking at it now it still says the 9th
