I really like the HTC One X, I looked at the reviews, only concerns for me are no replaceable battery and no SDCARD. I can't understand why Samsung haven't announced the GS3, once I know about that I can decide which of these two I will buy!

I am slowly convincing myself to get this phone over a Galaxy S II maybe I could take a day off work to visit auckland only a 5 hour drive.

I have the same concerns over many of the recently released phones. The battery thing is almost a deal breaker for me as I rarely make it through a day on a single charge and hate being tied to a power outlet.

ill put my name in the hat. iphone 4 user wanting to switch to android, mostly for ubuntu on android and well android seems to be doing some much cool things recently, iphone is getting old.

I used to struggle to get a day, now I can get almost two, but with parallel imported phones, it's not like a faulty battery issue is a small problem!

My Father-in-Law (60yo builder) was about to buy the Nokia Lumia 800 (free on contract), I've now suggested he might like to hold another three weeks and get this instead. Still free, bigger screen and android. Almost a no-brainer isn't it?
Shame though, I was looking forward to having a play with the Nokia...

Buy one of these.

Problem solved.

I have a Belkin equivalent. It can charge my phone twice over from a starting point of 5%.

Battery life is no longer an issue and I can do whatever I want, for as long as I want whenever I want.

Battery life is no longer an issue and I can do whatever I want, for as long as I want whenever I want.

It's probably what I'll end up getting when I upgrade from my S2 (whenever that is), but it's so much easier having a tiny battery in my wallet than that in my pocket, where my phone lives for 18 hours each day. I much rather carrying my phone and a battery in my wallet than that at the moment. I guess I'd better enjoy it while it lasts then - thanks for the link. :)

I'd happily switch my S2 for the HTC One X though. Now if only AutoDesk and Graphisoft will start porting their full blown CAD software to Android (no more desktop!)...

Would be keen to test and review. I am a Android user already (ex iOS), currently got an old HTC Desire, already on XT and I live in Auckland!

I could really put the phone through it paces, it can come flying with me and record my bands gigs!
