I can't say I've tried. I never turn 3G off unless my battery is getting low, sorry.

Edit: Actually, I normally get people to email me pics anyway... I think I've only had 3 MMS'.

Hello all, I've entered the fold of i9505 users. Man what an upgrade from the original i9000.

Have rooted using CF auto root (man how simple was that using Odin3!) mainly to use tiatinium to transfer data off the GS1.

I've picked up a 64gig micro SD card, went down the Adata route (they've released a class 10 UHC-1) as it was much cheaper than a Sandisk.

Question is... where to next? Had a quick look on XDA, fairly certain I want to stick with modified Samsung ROMs rather than go AOSP/CM/AOKP et al. Any recommendations on ROMs or kernels? Coming from the i9000 everything is amazing so doesn't feel like I need to change much as yet.

PS, whats the deal with triangle away - the i9000 never had this flash counter issues. Presume I can just leave it as it is, unless I want to restore it to 'stock'?

Lucky you neither of my components have arrived.

I'd be interested to know how fast it is compared to plugging it in.

Anyone have experiences where some MicroUSB Cables either won't charge or charge very slowly?

Where did you order yours from?

Very slow... it's basically an overnight charger.
I think the receiver I got is only rated 500mAh. I have another on the way.

edit: it's gone up 5% in 10 minutes.

Oh, ok... shouldn't take too long. I think mine took a week. The receiver from another place took nearly a month.
I ordered a receiver from the place I linked to yesterday. It shipped this morning.

Since the update still hasn't arrived and don't know how long it is going to take can someone point me towards the ROM they have flashed especially the Australian one?

What update?
You'll have to go here and register for the access to the ROM.. just fill in all the details and get aussie XSA in the last drop down.

EDIT or download I9505XXUBMEA_I9505XSABME4_XSA.zip directly from hotfile if this is the update you're wanting.

Oh you've got to be kidding, girlfriend just paid $949 from Noel Leeming 2 days ago for this. I don't suppose Noel Leeming's price match thing can get us the difference refunded?

edit. Apparently it can. Off to try it now.
