for me a couple of things are glitching - keyboard and one or two apps

my fingerprint reader is the same horribly unreliable - i can't say that has improved nor gotten worse

Having just got my first phone with a fingerprint reader, being an S10+, I have been very disappointed with the reliability of the scanner. Initially I put it down to the fact that I work in a workshop and my fingers are either constantly grubby, or that I keep "changing" them slightly with nicks or scratches. Hearing that others have issues with the same reader makes me think twice about that.

Although, best success I generally have is with either of my pinkies - they tend to get "edited" the least!

Yeah, don't judge fingerprint scanners by the quality of the one on these phones.

I had a OnePlus 6 prior to this, and the reader was fantastic - very fast and a success rate close to 100% with scanning. The one on my S10+ is a dog by comparison. I still also miss its placement on the back. Not everything is an improvement...

it's not reliable because it uses sound waves and they get distorted through the screen protector apparently. the reliable ones use optical (it's a camera).

but i'm not taking of the screen protector to find out.

I don't have a screen protector and the finger print reader is hit or miss.
Has anyone seen any improvements after s factory reset?

good to know!

Yeah my OnePlus 6 is great. My wife has a Huawei P30 Pro with an optical in screen reader and it is almost as good.

Has anyone noticed this deal from PB:
(getting rid of s10 stock perhaps on the impending S11/S20 release)?

I am wondering if anyone else's S10+ on Vodafone is also having this issue:

Noticed this morning that data is on 3G/HSPA only, not in 4G despite in 4G coverage.

Tried rebooting, didn't help, have had to toggle it to 3G mode only then back to 4G/3G/2G auto mode to get it back on 4G.

This happened few weeks ago but can't quite remember what I did for fix it, maybe did the same thing as above.

Phone was purchased from NL.

Yeps happened to me this morning on my 10+.

Only showing H+ . Have tried to toggle between 4g and 3g and and also restarted. No difference. Maybe a local tower issue?

Not sure if it's a local tower issue, noticed it when I was at Papatoetoe train station this morning which had a VFNZ tower nearby and was still doing that when I arrived for work on the North Shore

Downloaded an update for my S10+ today; includes the Feb 20 security patch.

Hopefully this also fixes the on-going issues I've experienced with response problems to the bottom section of the screen that have been present since the Android 10 update.

Has anyone else continued to have problems?

Yep, this latest update has indeed fixed the screen problems that have plagued my phone this year (with the Android 10 release) - most critically that annoying fault when holding the full stop button down for additional punctuation. If only it could have brought improvements to the fingerprint scanner, but given I hear the one in the S20 range is no better that's wishful thinking!
