vinnieg: Just changed mine, if I don't like it I'll sell the wifes One-X, give her the white GS3, then use the money from the sale to buy a blue later on :)

If she agrees to that...

I had the call from WHS this morning....haven't called them back yet, in a bit of a dilemma - white, blue, white, blue....in the interest of getting it straight away, I would be tempted by the white, but would be disappointed if I didn't like it. Although the HOX does look OK in white, how bad could the S3 be.

My wife tells me the white one is a not very manly, which I think is the same conversation motorwayne had with his wife.

Decisions, decisisons.

I'd love one on release day, but the thought anyone might mistake me for an iPhone user is so horrifying I think I'd rather wait and get a blue one :) I'll be aiming to get my hands on one at a store for a play, I wonder who will have hands on devices on release day, most bigger stores I guess?

I think caring about whether other people think something you like is manly or not is not very manly.

Man accessories for this beast are almost impossible to find. I want a Allcast Dongle, Desktop Cradle x 2 and an Airvent holder for my car!

Also annoying is the fact the xda device search doesn't find i9300 which is the official designation of this device.

Who says you have to get a blue phone to prove your manliness? We have penises for that.
You buy what you want not what society thinks you should buy.

I decided to go white so i get it straight away. And the more i look at the white the more i like it and the more i think the blue looks tacky.

Just keep looking at the photos, and try get a hands on!  The One-X is amazing in white, and still amazing in black-brown.

I just think the Blue on the S3 looks semi tacky now, like the blue on the newer model Acer laptops, which replaced the black on the older 2011 series as below:

However my biggest challenge will be at work.  The One-X as per my reviews, had already suffered scratches by the second day.  And has a few small ones in the front now too!

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

Mobicity have a few things but they are pricey. I don't know about an air vent holder. That could be tricky

Yup, if it's $180 for wireless charging I am not going to be happy that's for sure. Samsung can bite me.

The Warehouse in Hamilton East has the Galaxy S3 on display and testing.

Source? ZM Radio just announced it on air.

I gotta say, the white SIII looks quite nice. Your wife may be right though, I thought it looked a tad feminine too. But that's just me.

Had a brief hands-on with the white one this morning. Had the choice, I would definitely go with the Pebble-Blue. Has a nice, distinctive metallic sheen to it, that the marble white version doesn't have.

In saying that, it's still a gorgeous phone (never thought they were ugly). Just sucks that most consumers won't have the choice come launch day.
