Well I have been enjoying using the Ondemand 1.0 apk on my Nexus 7 but it seems there's been an update to ver. 1.1 and the old version no longer works, it just comes up with a prompt to update :-(

Don't know if I will be able to get this as I don't have an android tablet

Also, this new version of the app detects if your rooted and if you are it wont let you use it

Apparently its to protect content but it pisses me off. If someone wanted to steal content from it they would use a computer where it is alot easier. Ill use RootCloak

Thanks Yabanize

I was using the previous version quite a bit as my wife doesn't like having a TV in the bedroom, so I watch in bed on my Nexus 7 (2012) on these cold nights.
So I was annoyed when TVNZ OnDemand asked me to update which caused it to stop working.

So I can confirm this latest version does work on a Nexus 7 (2012)

Also the 3NOW app (posted earlier) is also working fine on my Nexus 7.

Yup - I just downloaded the file on my PC and copied it over to my Download folder on the Nexus, opened it in ES File Explorer, and ran it after making sure the previous version was fully uninstalled and rebooted.

Yeah thanks - tried it from the other thread here, but no go. can see the listing but it's blacked out once you press the programme you want to watch.

Thanks again Yabanize. I installed it on an Asus tablet and it works fine.

They've also locked out connecting the tablet to a tv via hdmi - now gives an error message similar to above.
