Went and had a look at Noel Leeming - the green is much nicer in person than in the photos, not as bright, with a lot of blue in it. Was interested enough that I ordered one. Not convinced I like the curved screen, but perhaps it will grow on me. Really buying it for the ultra wide angle lens more than anything else, and it's an excuse to finally move away from the Apple ecosystem.

Anyone want to buy some noise cancelling headphones or a silly phone tripod?...

Will they release different color for Mate 20 here? I am planning to buy for my wife and I think she will love emerald green rather than the black.

Ok, have been using it since Friday now. Solid performance, great photos as usual.

A bit of time to get used to the fingerprint scanner as it needs to press the screen a bit and perhaps a tad slower than a fingerprint on the back, which is where you naturally would position your finger.

Battery life is absolutely stunning - only charged twice in the last four days.

Huawei still has some Bluetooth problems (e.g. the Bose app still can't seem to connect to the Bose QC35, which on my OnePlus 5T and Nokia 7.1 works just fine). The power management still kills apps in the background so you need a bit of micr-management to disable power management for each app you want to absolutely live in your system.

Norton Mobile seems to not like either the Mate 20 Pro EMUI 9 or Android 9 altogether, and this is with Symantec now.

Already received a small patch update that improves face unlock (according to the release notes).

In summary a really nice phone.

At this stage, not really. i still would like the twilight... I've opted for the emerald though

Spark is only doing the Green model in stores. Harvey is doing both, PB is doing both, 2D is doing both (sold out of Black)

Nothing is really to stop you from grabbing a model from the other network, It's the same device.

There is potentially different OS tweaks, but you could sideload the firmware for your network

i compared the Mate 20 pro to my V20, sizing of the physical phone Bezzel included was no different

I woudn't say i have massive hands? but i cant really go back to smaller devices.. it just, feels weird.

How hard and fast are they holding retailers to the release date? I’ve paid for mine, but will be out of town on Friday. Would love to be able to take it with me on the Motorsport events I’m attending so I can take snaps between track sessions.

Dang it i want this phone NOW not friday! I got my note 9 about five days early from PB tech, why cant they do the same for Mate 20 pro :D

I have been looking for a case that can replicate the back of the phone like Mate 20 Pro RS Porsche edition but unable to find one :)

Just had a look at the Mate 20 Pro beside the P20 Pro - virtually the same physical size. The Mate is definitely the nicer handset; makes the recently released P20 Pro look dated!
