Dial111: I may be in the minority but 512gb id never use, even 256gb would be a stretch. Cloud is king

I'm the same, with data caps being higher then its easier to stream etc.

Just looking at the work portal for samsung products we have here i can get a discount off the 1899 (256gb no free 512) of about 400 but still don't think that will make me jump from the OP7 pro

I have ordered through pb tech. Looks like there is a redemption process for the bundle. You have to make sure to redeem your bundle before a certain date (next month sometime) or youl likely miss out. The redemption process says to enter your imei number of your phone (i assume the note 10). Which means you cant redeem until you receive your note 10 ???.

I wish you could redeem so you can get the bundle on the same day.

There is no 512gb option. Samsung (on their website) have the Note 10+ listed as "from $2299". Surely they're not pricing the 256gb version at $2299.

https://www.samsung.com/nz/smartphones/galaxy-note10/buy/

If you read it says the discount is applied when you go to cart where price drops.

OFFER Galaxy Note10+

Purchase the Galaxy Note10+ and receive a BONUS Memory upgrade worth $400 (256GB will be upgraded to 512GB and will be discounted by $400 on check-out page.)

It's been fixed now. Like I said earlier, when I stepped through the whole process the discount wasn't being applied.

The offer on the Samsung site doesn't appeal to me anyway as I've never broken a screen on a mobile phone. Probably leaning towards either the PB Tech bundle.

They've sent an email to Vodafone customers saying to look out for an email coming on Monday with a special pre order offer..

Wait a second... Is this how the Buy One, Get One offers work?

If by that question do you mean "Buy one phone on a plan, and get another phone free, also signed up on a plan" then yes, that's certainly how Sparks version of Buy One Get One worked. However that offer now doesn't appear on their website any more, may have ended yesterday / today with the Note 10 annoucements.

Just had a look at the note10+ in store. Looks and feel nice. That 1mm reduction makes a big difference in the hand.

Definitely happy about the upgrade after seing it.

It all adds up because if you buy through PB tech (and get the bundle) you should (hopefully) get the $100 account credit and the six months of half price cell phone plan.

The six months half price plan is actually a decent benefit.  I got then when I brought my S8+ a couple of years ago.  2D had just started their 25gb for $70 plan so I sat on that for the six months ($35) and built up over a 100gb of carry over data.  As soon as the special ended I dialed the plan down to the minimum amount I could cos hey, I have lots of carry over data and never make actual voice calls.  I then shared the data with the wife and kids (no cost) and they are on the cheapest $9 prepaid pack just to get some text messages.  It's taken me two years with everyone doing all the streaming they want and I have just about got down to zero gb.  I will go back up to the $70 plan for a month or two to build it back up.  When you add in the free hour of data clock per day (which I and the kids use any time I start streaming anything) thats a fairly good deal and adds up to a decent saving across the whole family.  In my opinion having a decent amount of carry over data is better than an unlimited data plan because you can hotspot the data, share it with family and once you have built up a decent chunk you can dial the plan back down.  Yay for NZ not being in the $20 for 1gb world any more.

2d is the best telco imho.  I just wish they had better 4g coverage in the country like Spark does.
