Greaver: Captured a couple of test videos today, the OIS is pretty good (I tend to move waaaay too much)

Day time recording way really good when I wasn't moving too much, and even with motion things were pretty tight. The microphone is fcuking phenomenal btw I have two 12' subs in the boot of my subbie and the sound is still crystal clear in the daytime video, even if the volume wasn't cranked.

Frame rate drop at night (I did have battery saver on) wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, all phone cameras are pretty bad but fast moving siht wasn't completely lost with lots of moving stuff.

eracode: Five days with this phone now and I'm in love. I just looked at my old S2, which I used to adore and thought 'you poor old thing'. It's really still quite a cool phone but now it looks clunky and dowdy.

I've never been through a marital split but I can sense what's like. A younger attractive model with a fresher face and two nicely separated hooters up front comes along and suddenly you're head over heals. The incumbent becomes the ex and never gets a look in again. You stay awake all night fiddling with the new one.

What I like most about the One is the simple fresh and clean look. My S2 has all sorts of Samsung social hub, music hub, readers hub, etc crap all over the place which I never used. The One has little or none of this and that's great.

I have only this morning given the hooters a good test and they are so great - amazing sound quality. As others have said, I'm sure HTC have set a precedent here. I could never work out why the iPad does not have stereo speakers - given the huge real estate that Apple have to work with on their device.
