All set up just how I want it, a little bit of time to get all my apps etc installed and setup. Change the lay out to how I want it and even have the remote sorted, which is also super easy. Though finding my added imput button after adding it did take me a min....hint....push the power looking button top right after adding. I needed to add a "source" button for my Samsung TV.

Captured a couple of test videos today, the OIS is pretty good (I tend to move waaaay too much)

Day time recording way really good when I wasn't moving too much, and even with motion things were pretty tight. The microphone is fcuking phenomenal btw I have two 12' subs in the boot of my subbie and the sound is still crystal clear in the daytime video, even if the volume wasn't cranked.

Frame rate drop at night (I did have battery saver on) wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, all phone cameras are pretty bad but fast moving siht wasn't completely lost with lots of moving stuff.

Heres a couple of short test vids I did

Five days with this phone now and I'm in love. I just looked at my old S2, which I used to adore and thought 'you poor old thing'. It's really still quite a cool phone but now it looks clunky and dowdy.

I've never been through a marital split but I can sense what it's like. A younger attractive model with a fresher face and two nicely separated hooters up front comes along and suddenly you're head over heals. The incumbent becomes the ex and never gets a look in again. You stay awake all night fiddling with the new one.

One of the things I like most about the One is the simple fresh and clean look. My S2 has all sorts of Samsung social hub, music hub, readers hub, etc crap all over the place which I never used. The One has little or none of this and that's great.

I have only this morning given the hooters a good test and they are so great - amazing sound quality. As others have said, I'm sure HTC have set a precedent here. I could never work out why the iPad does not have stereo speakers - given the huge real estate that Apple have to work with on their device.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

And surprisingly iPad mini comes with stereo speakers. Anyways great feedback about the device.

I didn't know that. Interesting - in that case I guess not long until the bigger iPad gets them too.

Well after reading pretty much all 75 pages of this discussion, along with countless reviews and YouTube videos, I snapped yesterday and purchased from a Telecom store in ChCh - the last of 2 at that store.

Upon opening when I got home I found the dreaded 'gap'. What are people doing that have this? Taking it back in for a swap? I am weary that they won't have another to give me just yet, so don't want to be without my device!

Are people getting favourable results when claiming the phone is faulty thanks to this tiny gap?

You should've opened it in store... You say it's "tiny" so unless it's something very huge I wouldn't bother.

All owners.
Still have a brand new back cover I bought in the US.
If you want it, you're in Auckland with $40 in your pocket it's yours.

Just seen that the calendar didn't pick up all the birthdays from Facebook, even when I sync them it still doesn't.

Anyone know what setting I missed when setting it up / to get them added ?

Perhaps "Hide declined events" is not checked?
