I apologise for the height in laziness, however my excuse of 4 hours sleep and 3 days with stomach flu directly for, will hopefully help me avoid deseved shalacking...

I want to install OmegaROM 4.2.2 and I want to do a full wipe install. I can't recall what the correct order for such a thing is. I have copied the blessed 1.7GB File to my SD Card.

Would someone spare me a few seconds...

I thought you flashed ROM's using Odin.

you can use Odin or just flash through CWM recovery

just boot into recovery
wipe data factory reset if wanting clean flash
or just do Dalvik and cache partition if coming from same base.

if you want to get rid of everything use this

Be a bit cautious with flashing newer firmware - there are new bootloaders with enabled knox stuff which doesn't let you downgrade and also has warranty implications.

Well I wiped ok after running titanium, had a couple of weird things I wouldn't mind a little guidance with please.

1) Dropbox seems to be (1) ing everything in my dropbox, like it doesn't understand they are the same file?
2) If I want to batch restore SELECTED apps and data, how do I do that with titanium. I see options for apps and data but it looks like it wants to restore them all which isn't what I want.

not to sure about dropbox maybe stop it and clear its cache.

for TB , once it opens up hit the tick on the paper icon top right beside the search one, should then give you a choice to restore selected apps and data

juif you select it then it takes you to a screen where you choose what you want to restore

Ah, well that's excellent, the UI on this product could use significant improvement.

I agree its rubbish and tool me ab age to figure it out after doing it all manually

I still can't root mine. It's on MG4 firmware. Using Cf Auto Root but no go, maybe I have to flash a pre rooted ROM?

I had a lot of trouble rooting my S4. It would never stick. I found flashing a rom which was already rooted got me what I wanted.

Anyone else getting a Security policy update notification ?

I've been getting this for a while now, it went away but it's back again.

It tries "connecting to server..." but errors with "Update failed due to network issues".
From what I've found via google it appears to be affecting a lot of UK owners :(
Rumour has it that it's a pre-update for 4.3

I got mine from Clove, it's an GT-I9505 running 4.2.2.
