^ Looks awesome. Might change my strap soon too. Leather is okay but just love metal so much more.

JayTaicho: Just got a steel strap put on from Mister Minit in Lynn Mall. Good thing was he'd done a couple moto's already so was up to speed with adjusting the metal band to fit better. Looks pretty sweet. $45.

That looks gorgeous. Where did you get the steel strap from?

From Mister Minut. The key cutting guys that are in the malls. Just noticed them as I was in the mall last night.

The strap is really similar to the official moto steel one too, but half the price.

What is it like on the back? Looks fantastic!

Nice. It's the 22mm you want. They attach it and remove links on the band to fit nicely for free which is cool.

Also bought this today, for the strap removal tool. On the hunt now for a brown leather strap. Looks sweet on the silver moto.

You mean the underside of the watch, or the band clasp side?

Sorry the underside. I have heard that some bands cause the back to crack.

You can now get the Moto ones for $80 USD but if this is just as good I will go with this. Does look really good.

Yep, was totally worried about that too. If third party bands aren't adjusted to fit properly where they connect with the face, you have to force it a bit to fit, which can lead to cracks. Luckily the guy that fitted mine had already done a couple, so knew to modify the strap before attaching it. He was pretty on to it.

Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to show me. I appreciate it a lot. Looks pretty good. I'll go to the New Lynn one as well.

Yeah really appreciate the follow up on that. Do you know who fitted it at Mister Minit?

Didn't catch his name, but he was an Asian dude. Nice guy. Very helpful.

Anyone know where I can get one in Christchurch? Everywhere seems to be sold out.

I went to the Mister Minit in Takapuna and I could have sworn I got the right strap but they were adamant it wasn't going to work once they looked at it. Guess I am going to be making a trip out to Lynn mall tomorrow.
