@n95:
ramboky: For anyone looking for USB C cables that won't fry the host, a Google engineer has taken it upon himself to review some on Amazon. I recommend you check them out. Details here:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/+BensonLeung/posts/LH4PPgVrKVN

And here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/+BensonLeung/posts/jGP5249NppF if you are lucky enough to have a Chromebook Pixel is a way to test your cable. I have order 2 USB C cables from here: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/7019669768.html?orderId=70165784316693 but have know why of knowing if the comply so won't be using them in my 6P

Sorry about the slow reply, busy with a newborn. My tests suggest those cables are NOT compliant, sorry.

Thanks ramboky, thats a bugger, thankfully they didn't cost too much. Can I ask what tests you carried out on the cable to come to that conclusion?

So has anyone purchased a case from Amazon yet? If so which case? Got my eye on a couple.

I've never purchased anything from Amazon before so any tips are welcomed.

My one from Google finally arrived today, should have been here Friday, but some misdirection from Toll (twice) meant I had to wait, loving it so far, picked up a Spigen case from PBTech as the one ordered directly from Google still hasn't arrived. Finger print reader much better than my iPad Air 2...camera, great, no complaints so far....and no, I don't intend trying to fold it in half....

Im still after a case, looking towards a Folio one but that's another story.

Did you buy this case from PB Tech? Do you have a picture of what the case looks like, or even better how it looks on your phone?

Thanks.

And another

Hope that helps, seems like a solid case ( and not a bad price, will be interesting to compare to the Google one when it arrives)

Not a bad case indeed. Looks good in your photos. They have them in stock? I might go pick one up tomorrow.

I bought this one on TradeMe last week and it's suppose to arrive tomorrow morning. It was a temporary one until I could find a case to commit to

Thanks. Yes saw that, I was planning on getting one from Penrose which are showing 5 but it's highlighted red for some reason. Ahh I'll call tomorrow to confirm.

The ones in Wairau Park were mixed in with the iPhone 6 Plus cases, I asked for a discount based on the stock was tainted...didn't work unfortunately ;-)

I'm really keen to read feedback on how real world users are finding this phone.

I looked at one close up yesterday, and it is really a contender for my $. The decision is between this and the Xperia Z5.
