@NikT any chance you could give indication on if the Cell API 4.2 is supported on the V20?
The CellID API? If so, yes, and it works extra-nicely with ongoing notifications from Cellmapper on the second screen.

I'd take a screenshot, but you can't screenshot the second screen, so here's a photo.

That is really nice actually! Didn't know cellmapper had branched out support for second displays so cleanly like that
What's the v20 battery usage like with the constant GPS usage with it running in the background like that? also temperature?
upgrading from my M8, mapping sessions gets quite warm and doesn't last that long.

It's not specific to Cellmapper, the V20 will display ongoing notifications on the second screen by default.
Couldn't tell you what the battery life is like when using it for mapping though, stuck at the office. :)

Not sure about Cellmapper, but running google maps it's impressive. The display chews, but GPS in the background seems nicer than my old Note 5.
It definitely gets warm running Android Auto, maps, iHeartRadio ( I like Tony Vetch, sue me ) & charging. But the charger is winning.

Awesome, good to know.
The major reason to jump to the V20 for me in terms of battery life, is the swap-able battery, much rather carry an extra with me on the road, drain one with gps then jump to the other rather than charge and do all the workload ontop of that.
It all just gets too warm otherwise :/
Almost went for the new oneplus for its charging platform moving the process away from the hardware and into the power supply but the fact that they didnt support band 28 was an instant deal breaker for me.

How are people finding the phone after a few weeks of regular daily usage? Would you say the phone is quite big in hand? I had a play with the phone at PBTech a couple of weeks ago and noticed its about as big as the iPhone plus but lighter which was good.
How is the battery life holding up?
Battery life is fine. I usually get to about 15% in bed late at night, I do a bit of gaming, phone calls, texts all for my business and rarely need to charge before 5pm.
Yeah, it's a big phone, but nothing I haven't adjusted to. It's very different to the Samsungs and I am more careful taking it from my pocket as I worry about it slipping occasionally.
I am happy with it will probably hang on to it until either the S8 or new note comes out.
It feels smaller than the Note 5, I guess lighter & thinner. But I definitely notice it.
It's a really nice phone in the hand. Of the cases I got, the 2 nillkin.org ones I like best. Their screen cover is not thin, but so far so good.
I am not that happy with the fingerprint reader. It's good, but not as good as either the 6P or the Pixel.
@NikT suspect your ear is closer to the ground on this one than mine, know if root is due to surface any time soon?
Also on a more personal note, thought you might like to hear.. The Downtown store's service has been exceptional, Props to them! Last phone i ordered ahead of arriving with Henderson was 'lost' and not organized like promised.
While not a major thing for me, as a power user it is something i do make use of fairly often - Be it even simply for detailed logs for debugging.
