During an internal test, our OxygenOS team accidentally sent out a global push notification to some OnePlus 7 Pro owners. We would like to apologize for any difficulties, and assure you that our team is currently investigating the error. We’ll share more information soon.

Man someones gonna get a growling.

does the standard charger have a NZ plug on it? if not then i dont believe they can sell it that way.

does the samsung charger allow warp charging? if not i would be asking them to provide one that does, ie the oppo charger

From PB Tech mine came with a NZ Oppo charger on top of box, original UK Warp charger inside. I just use a UK adapter - no issues and Warp charging.

Which you should have known prior to buying it because it's clearly stated on the NL website (or you could have confirmed this by visiting the store or asking online):

  • Supplied with 15W Samsung Wall Charger for NZ sockets

https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/phones-and-gps/mobile-phones/oneplus-oneplus7pro128gr-7-pro-128gb-grey/prod181743.html

I think this has been pretty standard for many of the retailers that have sold OnePlus phones since they introduced warp charging - ie, only providing a standard NZ charger. I knew this when I bought my 6, having checked it out prior, but back then it was easier to get hold of a suitable warp charger (Noel Leeming were just going out of the Oppo VOOC chargers, and I bought the last one from my local store).

i knew full well that Noel Leeming do this before purchasing, but i still cant get why they do it, just leave the bloody thing in there and add an nz plug on top, it makes zero sense!

I have a dash charger from my 6T that i use, but im pretty sure Warp charge is faster than Dash charge. either way the phone lasts me form 8am to 12am easily so i only charge overnight. but NL can still go F*** themselves! :D

I understand this is one of the differences between the Chinese version and the global version. Some places are selling the Chinese version flashed with global software rather than the official global product.
