Mine arrived today, haven't had much time to play but it's very nice indeed, much better than the previous versions I tinkered with.  I should have the new S pen next week too.

First few days were "not great" but that is because i was playing, currently at 1.30pm. Took off charge at 6am, Music playing for 2 hours with bluetooth headphones, screen on time 40 minutes so far (im working so not using it much). 40 minute walk with music (including the 2 hours of music). I'm at 73%

Normally go to bed around 10pm, been getting between 3 - 4 hours of screen on time and go to bed with 40 - 50% left.

My settings,

Always on display off on small screen but have the lift to wake and double tap on screen turned on

display brightness is set to auto

I'm using 60mhz on my screen however as i don't game and i don't really notice the difference between 60mhz and 120mhz.

no kind of battery saver turned on.

I did do a big clean up of my apps that restored from my backup going to this phone and removed years of apps i have never used.   I think this is saving a lot of the battery as i removed like 20 or 30 apps that restored.

I bloody love this device.  It's so cool and unique, and I'm glad I waited a few versions to get on board so I wasn't burned by early adopter issues.  this device is going to make a huge impact to my day-to-day work flow, AND the fun stuff too.  Downloaded a few books on the Kindle app last night. Mostly "The Art Of....." game books like Ghost of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, Cyberpunk etc.  The image quality on the inside screen is phenomenal and great for consuming that kind of media.  Can't wait to see where this goes with future software updates and when more apps get on board with the fold features.  Also looking forward to the s pen arriving any day now. I got the Samsung aramid shell for it but I only really use that when I'm out of the house and until my usual dbrand skin arrives in a week or so.

Usually I'm tempted by the latest iPhones but this year couldn't care less, the fold is just on another level of innovation, for what I use my phone's for its incredible.

Wow! Hope I don’t get the same. I’ve had my Gear S3 Frontier for 3+ years and no sign of burn in.

Never had burn in on my watches, that's with quite a bright AoD on it as well.  I'd return, sounds like a fault with your one.  I've treated the current Watch4 Classic the same as my Watch3 and no issues with the display after a couple of weeks.

So yesterday ended up being a bit like Christmas morning because the accessories I ordered on AliExpress arrived as well. Pretty amazing considering I only ordered them on 8 Sep and they were on the front porch on 24 Sep. After reading the overseas delivery thread on GZ I made sure to stick with AliExpress Standard Shipping and it appears to have paid off.

I wanted another flip case so I could experiment with S-Pen placement without wrecking my official Samsung case (Flip with S-Pen) and I also got a couple of ‘slim’ cases. I have installed the ‘frame’ cover from one of the slim cases over the front screen (inside the official flip case), something I believe Samsung should have included in the flip cases. So the phone is pretty well protected (touch wood).

I also got a car mount that is designed to take the Fold. Whether the air vent is strong enough to support it is yet to be determined!

Samsung Smart Switch did a pretty good job of transferring across from my S10, but I realise now just how much tweaking had been done and am working my way through settings in Google Assistant, Tasker, Bixby Routines, Watchmaker, etc. Probably about another day’s fiddling before it’s where I want it.

Then on to the Watch.

I find most air vents aren't strong enough for the bigger phones like Pro Max and Note etc.  But sticking a little wedge in there tends to make them stay in place
