Seems fair ETC to me. Glad they amended it, wouldn't want them losing money due to unscrupulous people taking advantage of the situation :)

P1n3apqlExpr3ss: Sorry those people who wanted a cheap deal via 2degrees

http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/c/document_library/get_file?uuid=4c2a7b56-d1b3-45a8-8434-0262a078fd77&groupId=10128

Makes sense that way you end up paying $1000 for the phone which is fair. Now do they also have different terms and conditions relating to paying to switch to a cheaper plan during your term (I would assume if they don't already this will be added to the above document).

Tomorrow I will decide where to buy the phone in Dunedin, JbHiFi, DSE, Warehouse Stationary or 2degrees depending on any additional deals and when the phone will actually be available

vinnieg: Yeah I'm happy to pay $5 more, and avoid both DickSmith, for their continued rubbish service in Featherston Street, Queensgate, and Porirua branches down here in Wellington,
- Featherston street - stock showing on website, nothing there, told me to go to Jaycar. Foolishly went in 2 weeks later for a blank 2Degrees sim showing as in stock, again told me to go to the 2Degrees store
- Queensgate - gave me a used copy of PlayTV, after leaving me waiting round for 20 minutes, while chatting to others in the store
- Porirua - sold me the wrong mouse in a keyboard/mouse set, and an opened box that had been resealed by the staff member

and JBHIfi, because the Wellington store smells really bad still

And it still smells :S

Where as Warehouse Stationery have constantly informed me of any delays, and made sure things were on track

It honestly smells like sweaty balls. I think they have too many males working there

Well I'm not going to shop at a store that smells sweaty balls or poohy nappies for instance, won't do it, I won't..that's going too far.

IntegerIsNumber: I got this from JB Hifi :)
So who is seeking for cheaper price then go with JB Hifi :) I'm waiting for my 32GB from them.

HORRAY!!! HORRAY!!!

=========
Hi,

Just a quick note to let you know we will be launching the Gakaxy S III at $944 for the 16GB and 1044 for the 32GB.

At this stage only the 16GB white will be available from tomorrow and it looms like the rest of the models will be roughly 10 days away from launch.

Thanks

Regards
==========

ha ha told you wait for JB until the launch day.

Yes thank you for your advise earlier ;)

Now I'm a happy man. I'm going to rush in and pay the rest tomorrow. I just got paid last night haha.

Hope to secure this deal. And hopefully can score more bonus on the day as well like cases or voucher :)

update: correction :D

I went back to JB today thinking to change my pre-order to white 16GB, the salesperson I talked to said the white would be available tomorrow straightaway. he even offer to give me a bit of discount off outright price if I agreed to sign up on a plan, even the $45 plan for one month...but he couldn't tell me how much discount until tomorrow.

I'd be interested to see how much less I can have the S3 for, I may even stick with the 32GB version and just wait....options options options

I wouldn't get too excited, it's just the usual press release with a few random quotes thing
