Bad news if you use the official twitter/facebook apps. Twitter crashes, fb comments screw up. there is a whole list on the xda forums of apps that don't work and check if anything there listed is something that you will need. I've loaded IOS betas before and they were buggy and sluggish, this preview is smooth and fast, almost everything works and I get 4 hours screen time during the day

Have you got a link to the XDA thread? Google wasn't my friend on that one....

Yea haven't had many major problems, have been using twitter through chrome and the fb comment problem is not that bad. Overall running great. Glad with have root now can disable all Google location services with disable services app. Overall I say go for it. There's a few ROMs now based on the preview. There great cause flashing the stock image wipes the phone completely. Make a CWM/TWRP backup and give it a shot :)

Has anyone had problems with dust inside the nexus 5 camera sensor? My pictures always come out with a dark black spot on the side and am thinking its dust inside the sensor. Took it to 2degrees shop and have been told it isn't covered under warranty since its not a certified dust resistant phone and that I should have purchased a case to protect it from dust. Was asked for a bond for them to send the phone away as it isn't covered under warranty apparently. Does this sound normal?

That is ridiculous, ask them what kind of case you would have needed to buy to have the camera never come into contact with dust? If its for private use just point out to them they are breaking the law under the CGA and state its not fit for purpose if under normal use the camera breaks (for whatever reason, dont speculate the cause) afterhow ever many months old it is.

Might go see them again then. They did mention that the bond was payable for warranty repairs through 2degrees, but if I went directly to Phone Fix who is apparently LG's repairer in NZ, I wouldn't have to pay a cent.

It's an offence under the Fair Trading Act for companies to mislead consumers about their legal rights to a remedy when a product is faulty.

Again I am assuming this phone is for personal use as the CGA does not cover business use. You need to go in knowing your rights. If you can clearly show the fault then they have no leg to stand on. They cannot charge a bond, they are breaking the law under the CGA. What they are attempting to do is use the warranty as the answer, reject this.

I've been experiencing a signal drop time to time since 4.4.4.
Hopefully this will fix it.
