freitasm: It's from Samsung, but as said just above, it's the press release.

Unidentified Samsung official - "Umm sorrly but umm we won't be making brue ones anymore even though "we invented it", plus white is better for nature anyway, Built for humans" Commentator - "Well, that was about as surreal as the acid trip Samsung went on for their official 2012 launch the other night, stay tuned folks, it is a wild ride we're on"

I am wondering if the blue ones that have been released will be recalled and replaced, you'd have to think so.

So who is going to be first back here with the unit and proof?

sittingduckz: Oh stink bro, I just got an email from Vodafone saying I had to pay $150 early resign fee. On Friday I checked this on the VF website and it said Less that 6 months $0 for a resign. I have less than 4 months remaining.

I find this a bit poor considering I did have a good check of these details, and yet they change behind your back like this.

I have been with vodafone for very long time and to be honest am a little pissed about it.

>>>Rant for the day<<<

Well call them and have a chat, with respect, with the exception of perhaps 2 people, no-one here has any ability to assist you.

I have found VF very reasonable, I would just call them and politely make your case.

Yep, tried that, he didn't seem to give a toss

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Well then I guess you've done the reasonable thing and offered them a chance to be competitive, you just need to decide what you want to do.

vinnieg: Yeah I'm happy to pay $5 more, and avoid both DickSmith, for their continued rubbish service in Featherston Street, Queensgate, and Porirua branches down here in Wellington,
- Featherston street - stock showing on website, nothing there, told me to go to Jaycar. Foolishly went in 2 weeks later for a blank 2Degrees sim showing as in stock, again told me to go to the 2Degrees store
- Queensgate - gave me a used copy of PlayTV, after leaving me waiting round for 20 minutes, while chatting to others in the store
- Porirua - sold me the wrong mouse in a keyboard/mouse set, and an opened box that had been resealed by the staff member

and JBHIfi, because the Wellington store smells really bad still

Was just over 2 years ago I posted this:
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=48&topicid=59123

And it still smells :S

Where as Warehouse Stationery have constantly informed me of any delays, and made sure things were on track

OMG-spot!!
I was in that JB maybe august last year and i did smell a disgusting smell. Might have been blow-off or something. It was a distinct smell, it was foul. That was when i was buying mothers S2.

(I vow to never EVER use OMG again. As Geekzone is my witness).

NOTHING smells worse then sweaty man balls. (Shudders).

S3.

That is a good reason to finish up with them and never go back.
Remember us using their service pays their wages. Without us, they are nothing.
Speak with your money.

I also offered the Vodafone store in Blenheim 2 grand for two S3's after telling them about WHS. They didn't even know WHS had that price. They said no anyway and if WHS were selling at that price to grab the deal.

I wouldn't say no to 2 grand.

Looks fine, I'm not much into white devices though, but oh well :)

First disappointment: somehow Samsung have messed up MHL and standard MHL adapters do not work (there is a specific one coming for the S3, but exceedingly annoying since one of MHLs purported benefits is that it is a connection standard).

Otherwise though just awesome!

I have an original Samsung MHL adaptor from my S2. Do you want me to send it to you to try it out?
I'm pretty sure I saw the same adaptor tested a while back with the S3. Let me know if you want to trial it. My S3 won't be here for at least another 10 days :(
