4.1 all good, bluetooth issues and sound issues resolved. Still early stages but so far so good...

How's the battery charge so far? Seems like a few on XDA have either having battery issues with the new rom, or might be they haven't cleared the battery status.

No battery issues so far, but I had no batt issues on 3.2 so I dont anticipate any.

Anyone experienced both cognition and litening?

Was wondering if litening is better and feels more like a custom ROM? Cognition is doing everything I want just fine, I didn't find considerable increase in battery life over the stock ROM except it fixed the Wifi-sharing bug.

Long timer reader, first time poster!

I have Cog 1.30 at the moment and ever since I have flashed Cog (have had COG since 1.13 and only stock before) my battery life has increased dramatically.  I use to get down to around 10-20% by the time I finished work and now get down to around 60% with alot more use (mp3 player going pretty much the entire time at work).

I have copied nofams volts (thanks Nofam!!) and also UC to 1.2ghz ondemand.

Stick to core. There have been quite a few comments that internal voltage can affect data. I used to run 125mV undervolted on both through all clock settings except the highest. I never had any problems, but in the interest of long term stability and reliability I opted for the safe route and stick to core now. Still fast and stable.

Just got my USB Jig yesterday, looking to start flashing custom ROM/kernel.

What is the most popular custom kernel at the moment?

I see Speedmod has started making kernel for SGS2? Tempted to flash his as had been pretty happy with his work on SGS.

Any suggestions? I am still running stock ROM ZSKG2.

Another question, do I have to use the USB jig to get to download mode everytime I flash to reset the custom binary counter and get rid of the warning triangle or I use it once that's it?

nofam: Anyone tried/currently using Hardcore's K1-T8 kernel?  I'm plannning on flashing it tonight; it doesn't have CWM yet, but I can flash Ninphetamine back via Odin if it's not doing the job.

Needless to say Hardcore's pedigree with kernel dev'ing is impeccable.

13h, 10m on battery with quite a bit of txting last night, and still have 78%.  Android OS isn't even showing in the battery stats. . . . .  Surprised

Pretty much what's in my sig still. . . . What ROM are you running?

If you haven't already, try the following:

- Buy Titanium Backup
- Freeze anything Kies-related (Kies Wifi etc), and freeze all the hubs
- Set wifi to sleep on screen off
- Disable fast dormancy
