The Xiaomi is miles ahead of the Lime in terms of build and capabilities.

Yep, I got the same - but the tracking indicates it's not even been picked up yet. And I confirmed this in calling the Mi Store this morning - still hasn't been picked up, and has no idea when this will actually happen. I've asked him to investigate and get back to me so can report back then.

Perhaps those emails are just auto-generated when the stock arrives in-store, but they certainly don't seem to be (or are not, in my case) an indication of it having shipped.

As you may tell, I'm champing at the bit for the scooter to arrive...

They will be generated when the courier information is put into the courier to get the ticket to stick to the parcel.

Could be a while before pickup if they are labelling a container lot of scooters to go out to people.

Atleast you got the email confirmation about dispatch.

i ordered on Friday, and till now the status shows Picking.

i rang them yesterday asking about the status, they said it will be shipped by end of the day.

Rang them today, same answer. i did mention this to the CS.

Today he promised it will be sent out.

My only worry is - i fly this Saturday and would love to get that power bank before (also did mention)
