Has anyone cancelled a preorder with Sammy online? I know someone in this thread has but who has seen the refund come through?

How soon did you get your refund? Thinking of getting a different bundle.

I cancelled online at my account and immediately placed a new order. Credit came thru within 48 hours.

5% is rewards that you won't get until later. So you could just save one of the accessories and buy it when they clear.

The way the voucher applies is slightly weird, firstly it only applies to certain accessories not just anything, then I think if you go over it calculates the difference as a percentage between the items. So buds or watches will say much more than a charger.

If you're picking up buds or a watch look in your cart and they have a Chinese New year code for $70 off under them that seems to stack with the galaxy code. I applied it to mine with the buds 2 and it meant I got away with sticking in a 25W charger and a better case that should have been $360 for $302. I'm just disappointed the buds pro sold out as they have $170 off then with the code and would have come in cheaper than the buds 2 but the website was crashing when I was playing with it.

I placed a new order before cancelling, that was on thursday. I just checked my credit card statement and it shows the refund was processed same day (thursday). Fyi I emailed my request to cancel the order.

Not sure what you are asking. Why do they need to verify anything if your order has gone through?

I think it’s because I dont have a samsung account when I placed my order. Maybe they just want to double check if it is really me who placed the order? I dont know aswell. 😅

Hopefully this will give you peace of mind, battery tests are very surprising: https://www.computerbild.de/artikel/cb-Tests-Handy-Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Test-Review-31196893.html#-80949954

It says "Ships 24/02" but also says "Arrives 24/02"
Anyone know which one is it?

S22 officially goes on sale on 25/02/22 so I imagine it will be sent on 24/02/22. Notice arrival also says “usually 5 working days” from the 24th. Some lucky people may receive a same day delivery while others may have a slightly longer wait depending on your local courier and how back logged they are.

The tldr version: s21 lasted 6:58hrs, s22 lasted 8:13hr. S22+ 9:46hr, s22 ultra 9:53.
charging time took: s22 1:38hr, s22+ 1:15hr, s22 ultra 1:30hr.
One thing to note is the germans have the exynos version while we get the snapdragon, so there may be some differences but hopefully if this german site is accurate it indicates that the s22 will have better battery life than the s21. Hopefully we get some more test results from other reviewers soon.

Snapdragon.
After recording 4K 60 fps:

* S22: 37°C - 75% battery
* S21: 51°C - 57% battery

Summary:

* Experiment carried on with mixed usage of YouTube viewing and video recording at 4k 60fps
* S21 died at 5:16.
* At time 5:34, S22/S22+/S22U have 26%/42%/38% battery remaining, respectively.
