If you dont have an iSky account, just go to the site and enter your Sky credentials, (you will need your code from your card in your decoder) and your laughing. Took great delight in watching the F1 qualifying while at a 21st at the weekend.

I've been able to load Flash, but when logging into isky and clicking on the movie it only goes as far as loading the advert and then freezes, any idea why?? Thanks

I have had that before also, I found that refreshing the page or changing the channel helps to fix it. Also I have noticed that having the screen rotated helps in getting it to work.

Has anyone been able to get this running regularly or reliably? I followed the above instructions and when I click on a 'catch up' programme, it runs for four of the five-second intro, then stops. Only audio, no video.

If I click on a 'live TV' channel, after a time it says 'programme not available'

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Boat browser seems to work the most reliably for flash content these days.

Is there a good app I can use to track where the powers all going? I can only see what apps are using the most in the stock battery details.

Better Battery Stats.

I don't get a days use out of either usually, but my use is likely quite a bit heavier than most.

When you say constantly, how many cycles are we talking? The first 3 or so charges won't be that great, but the battery greatly improves after that. I suppose if you'd had it for a week and things aren't improving you should be a little concerned, maybe look at some of your settings like screen brightness, enable power saving mode etc. Other than that, not too sure what could be wrong.

still works for me no problem. Did you find that YouTube video with the instructions? You have to download the flash version from here: http://flash.cricketusers.com (cant embed cos I'm on my phone) and you have to use the stock browser with desktop view enabled and with the screen rotated. Note that I have only used it to watch live tv so I can't comment on catch up.

edit: also, you have to make sure that you have the channel listing at the top of the window with the video in it otherwise I have found it won't work. Just refresh the page or click on live tv link until it comes up.

Thanks - tried that. iSky seems much closer to running on the default browser than on Boat. BTW, I think Boat Browser is great - now my main browser, taken over from Dolphin.

Got it Thurs 9th May, it's been charged from under 15% to full every day since.

Cheers nztechfreak, I'll try out Better Battery Stats and see what the main culprit is - I'm thinking it'll be screen time tho as I'm on public transport to and from work and basically have it on the entire time.

Damn. I have a Telecom LTE SIM - actually nanoSIM. No adapter. I can't test it. Not happy.

Regarding the firmware on Telecom One, it shares it's firmware with VF AU and Optus. There is no Telecom stuff on the phone till you insert the SIM for the first time.

You can probably add VFNZ to the list if the demo model in the Vodafone store I visited was anything to go by. It had the same 1.29.980.2 firmware.
Is it possible that they just have different radios flashed on them? If that is the case it would make it interesting when the time comes to activate 4G (if it is in fact dormant on the XT models). Do I need to boot into recovery to check the radio?

Thanks, must have missed the LTE sim comment. I hope Telecom launches their LTE without the price premium that VF has.
I will try my TNZ sim in my One now. I didn't do the online setup and as such didn't realise there was an XT option. Probably not worth going back redoing the setup.
I've got to ask though, if the Telecom and VF handsets are identical, why would you pay an extra $100 (RRP) for a VF One? Unless you are on a plan and get a discount, but even then, the subsidy you are receiving is $100 less.

Bu66er it! I just inserted my Telecom sim and selected "load carrier options" and got the MyTelecom Y!TWorld etc shortcuts that I was after, but it also blitzed all my carefully constructed homescreens.

When I use the in built Video player to play a movie, its out of sync, but when I use an external player (Currently using ES File Explorer Media Player) its in sync.

Is this normal or...?

HTCs inbuilt players have never been up to much.

Dice Player and MX Player are the ones to get :)
