I've been extremely happy with my Transformer, but relatively recently it's started misbehaving in some slightly odd and annoying ways.  This has been since upgrading to ICS, but I'm unsure if it's related and suspect not.  Any TF101 owners out there with ICS had any similar experiences??

1)    While charging it sometimes only seems to charge the keyboard dock, but not the tablet. Could be that the contacts between dock and tablet are getting a bit lose I guess.

2)    Very occasionally when the tablet is almost empty it flicks back to what I would call the BIOS screen (first screen on boot from power off with ASUS logo)  then gets stuck on it. Worse, pressing the power button turns it off, but then a couple of seconds later it turns back on and gets stuck on the BIOS screen again. This continues until the battery dies completely... was very annoying a few weeks ago when I didn't have my charger with me.

3)    It wouldn't charge at all the other day. After trying many solutions online around unclipping the NZ power plug adaptor and reconnecting it and others involving bending pins in the USB cable, a suggestion to put it in the freezer for an hour worked - apparently it has some sort of thermal cutout that resets when it gets sufficiently cool.

Don't get me wrong I'm overall extremely happy with it, and these are infrequent enough that I'm not too bothered yet; but have any TF101 owners noticed any issues since upgrading to ICS?

Hey Simon,

In case you missed it there is a new OTA update which brings the kernel to .24. Hopefully this fixes the SOD and reboot loop problems.

Cheers, Matt.

Thanks mate; yeah I've been keen to try the recent updates but seem to have lost my charger! I'll give it a try as soon as I find it (or might have to buy a new one; anyone know a good source for them?)

PB tech have them. I haven't checked price spy lately. You might find them cheaper now that the tf101 is well stocked.
