hey GZ.

I know there are 1000's, but im looking for a decent note taking/organiser app to use while taking calls for bookings, for work.

It would be useful if the app could auto populate the incoming caller's number as a header or similar, but not a deal breaker. The ability to set up a standardised template for all the notes would be awesome as well.

The notes dont really have to sync with anything as the phone [HTC sensation running 2.3] will be with me constantly.

I've had a decent trawl through the market, but does anyone here have an app they'd recommend? Free would be preferable, thats half the joy of Android over iOS ;)

Thanks in advance!

I find that Evernote is the most versatile - it seems to have something for everybody.

I like Evernote. If I add an image to my notes on the laptop it uses OCR so I can then search the images as well as written text. Not sure if it does that on the phone app but should try it out now that I think about it.

Thanks for those suggestions.
Evernote won out in the end but I did like the fact that onenote was so inherently Microsoft way orientated.
Is there any way to set up a default template for evernote, or am I just being greedy now? Lol
