Turned my phone on today and it seems my Messaging icon is missing from the bottom of my screen where the 4 stationary items normally sit,now there are only 3 icons.  I cannot seem to drag the Messaging icon back next to the contacts, phone and applications icons down the bottom of the screen.  Can anyone tell me what I did to move it or how to get it back there.  I am on a Galaxy S2 with ICS running onboard.

A.

Doing this from memory but, Click on the apps icon, then click on menu button and then edit, and you should be able to drag it back into your bar at the bottom.

I guess you mean the app icon inside the actual apps menu but that just opens up the ability to drag it to the main homescreen pages.  if you hold down on the icon then it lets you drag it to one of the home screens but not the permanent bottom Icons at the bottom.

Do you have an applications icon in the bar that now only has 3 icons left in it? Bottom right. hit that, then menu, then edit

Start from the home screen
