Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has bought NFC tags before? Had some cool ideas that i want to try out but not sure where to get them in NZ

Easiest is to buy them offshore from what I've found.

I ordered some from Ebay, will let you know once they turn up and you can have one to play with. Shouldnt be far away now.

Of course! Proximity ID cards :)


Might have to take a wander down, and "test" out one of the ID printers

Oh wait....they have to be 13.25mhz NFC Prox cards :( bugger

What are you guys using to program them? There's a Samsung App on the market (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.tectile), but it's not available in NZ :(

Be interested in having a play around with them, but not sure how I'd actually set up the tag to trigger something on my phone.
