Sorry if this has been done-to-death somewhere in the Galaxy mega threads but I simply cannot find a non-naff case for this phone anywhere (stores, Trade me etc).

Want something slick and protective that fits the phone like a glove but doesn't bulk it up.

I'm on my 4th case and the one thing they've all had in common (apart from me buying them online) is that they are all sh*t. Nasty, tacky, rubbery sh*t. Either that or sharp edged, unpleasant to hold metal sh*t.

What's a guy gotta do to get a result?

Thanks in advance (hopefully)

Case Mate Tough Case. Used it for a year, best one. Grippy with great texture and non-slip. Does add some bulk but thats good for a phone the size and slimness of an S2.

Hope this helps...

I'm looking for something too! Have my eye on the case mate pop case - quite bulky, I guess, but loads of protection. But where to purchase it from -without costing a small fortune!??

+1 for case mate, I use a Case mate barely there case, great texture, doesn't provide a huge amount of protection on the top and bottom edges however, got mine from Noel leeming, when they had 50% off so it was pretty cheap, and im happy with it.

Case Mate 'Barely There'. Beautiful, slim, non-slip and very high-quality - like a good woman really. I really love mine (case and woman).

Seriously tho' - have good look at this one.

The barely there one sounds interesting. The only images i could find on interweb look like it has exposed ends - ?

It is cut away a little at the ends to give access to the phono, USB and mic but it really does not matter - the corners are protected.

They have awesome service with a great range of cases at a good price .I have dealt with them for several years and at present one of their cases is protecting my SGSII and before that my SGSI.  They even fit the screen protectors for free. They are in downtown Auckland but have excellent mail order service.  Don't have their ph no. sorry but email contact works well.

cases are really up to the individual and given the op hasn't said what he does like its hard to be able to advise. suffice that Google is your freind and there are heaps out there to look at.

As an aside I didn't have a case on the S2 and it was fine but with S3 i bought the Rock case quicksand and think its great.

I was using a "Casemate Tough Case" but found it a bit bulky for my taste and because the buttons stick out a bit with it on phone was turning itself on and off in my pocket (still does this sometimes). I now have a "Casemate Barely There" I got from JB Hi Fi for $24 and am loving it. Not as much protection but fine if you are careful.

OK, so Casemate Barely There is worth a shot I think. Thanks for all responses. Anyone recommend local seller?
