Did you purchase your phone from Vodafone, or is it parallel imported? Have you connected it to KIES recently? (On PC, AFAIK Mac updating doesn't work for the S2) What do you get when you enter *#1234# in the dialler?

Ok, I feel a bit of a plonker. In my defence, I was checking on the phone for upgrade via settings/about phone - and it would say no upgrade available.
