The Vodafone one has very limited internal memory due to a lot of bloatware (not VF specific). Google+ takes up 20+ mb and cannot be uninstalled without root.

Really the only issue I have come across is the limited internal storage. If you're comfortable with rooting I would suggest doing that, and remove all the crap that you don't use. It should make the phone a bit faster too.

I did not think the vodafone model and the telstraclear model were different, as they operate together on this front.  from what i understand from a bit of Google research is that it has 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage expandable upto 32GB with micro SD.  I am not familiar with rooting a phone.  the comments on vodafones website seem positive, with the only let down being the battery, but that was with high use and high use on any handset would surely drain the battery quick.

I would like to know how sturdy it feels as a phone with it's battery in and not hanging off the wall like as that is the only way i got to get a look at it at the local vodafone shop.

and how responsive and user friendly it is to use.

oh and yeah, value for money?
