Just seen on Engadget and The Verge.
An OTA update centre for Custom Android builds has been announced. Allowing PC free updates of the likes of Cyanogen Mod roms (if they choose to participate).

I'll be interested to see which developers use it. I am just waiting for a ICS rom with everything working for my DesireHD, but if I can look forward to OTA updates then I can probably jump in earlier.

Thanks for the heads up. I have decided to wait for stable ICS on the DHD. It may take a while since HTC put the mockers on an official upgrade. Pinning my hopes that they'll at least release the required drivers and libs (or poss an RUU) so someone can cook a decent rom.
I don't imagine producing an OTA is a simple thing. Even testing one can take months, just ask TelecomNZ!
