Hi, I wonder if you lot can help. I have unlocked my phone following this "onexroot.com/one-x-root/how-to-root-one-x/" method and went right through to the end but unfortunately on the last step I just went from a little green circle to a red triangle with an arrow through it.
I can reboot the phone and it works just fine but I did this to install the latest 2.15 rom, which is still sitting in my download file and waiting for it's new home.
Anyone have an idea how I can root the phone from here please?

Cheers Trouty

Try this tool instead
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1604439

And also this:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/fastboot-automation-tool-for-the-international-one-x/

Read EVERYTHING first.
Also read all instructions with the ROM. You have to flash boot.img files before you can flash the ROM

Thanks for replying, as soon as they stop making pull double shifts. I'll have time to look at my phone. I'm sure it's nothing major. I'm just a bit of a noob and not that young either so that's a dangerous combination when combined with technology.

No worries.

You have unlocked the bootloader first?

Yes, the phone is unlocked but I did notice that in the video the following instruction is missing (step 39)"fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.2.7-endeavoru.img"and only shows in the step by step. if I connect the phone in "Disc Drive" mode and go into fastboot can I open a cmd and write a command line in and then hit recovery and hopefully this roots my phone? I have the onexroot file onboard as well as CWN-SuperSU-v0.87.

Sounds like maybe the boot.IMG file.

I don't know, I couldnt get anythihg use cmd to work. I had to use the two tools I linked.
Also, go to the HTC one x xda development section and look for the thread on all you need to know about rooting one x.
