I will be going to Hong Kong and China at the end of the year, and I will get a local sim-card there to put into my Galaxy Note "phablet". How do you know if it is unlocked so I can put in a Hong Kong sim card? (By the way, it is parallel imported - so I guess it is unlocked?) Please confirm.
Thanks.

If it works with a SIM other than one from the operator that supplied it then it is unlocked. Yours presumably works with a NZ SIM so you should be fine.
