I needed a budget android device, so I went with the telecom r22. I've been wanting android 4.1 Jelly bean for some time now and since zte released a smartphone with android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed I'm just wondering if Zte will release a update for the r22. I am new to android and don't fully understand rooting and custom roms as I've been using IOS for some time but got tired of it and decided to make the switch. So if anyone knows a safe and easy way to get some kind of theme or update to Jelly bean please report it to me. I am looking forward to increasing my knowledge about android and enjoying it as well
There's virtually no benefit to JB versus ICS on low-end devices anyway, be happy with it as it is, odds of them releasing a JB update for it is pretty unlikely.
There's bugger all in the way of interesting new features in 4.1 even versus 2.3. It's mostly just hype and polish.
