I recently bought a sandisk ultra micro sd card for my telecom/zte r22 and I tried moving apps to it like angry birds, evernote and even chrome! they all had the option to move,  so I pressed the move to sd card button and it said moving for about 30mins and then nothing changed! the move button still said move to sd card and nothing had changed!

prob no. 2:  After trying to move the application to the sd card I attemped to uninstall it.  The same thing happend with the uninstall as it did on the moving to the sd card!  I finally tried rebooting the phone and managed to unninstall it!  I am in desperate need of assistance and I am a starter into the android-way so please,  if you have any questions just ask,  (in-case I missed out a few things)

Sounds like a corrupt SD card... assuming the phone is not running anything custom.

Seems a little odd cos I didn't think chrome had the option to move to SD? I have 2 4.0.x devices neither let me move to SD.

My partner had this problem and it was mainly due to Angry Birds, we ended up using a third party application to force the apps onto the SD Card ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd )

I tried to format the micro sd card and I also tried to install some kind of aplication,  theres still the uninstall issue and the moving to micro sd card issue!  Do you think there could be some kind of lock on the micro sd card or are there any android settings that could possibly stop there move?

Try a different card before you start probing any further

Some Android applications, do not want to be moved but I believe you have a different kind of issue, good point asking about the lock some have a little tab (usually white) on the side of the micro-sd card. Another option might be simply to clear as many applications off the phone as you can, possibly by taking out the SD Card and formatting it in the computer. Worse comes to worse you have to restore to Factory Settings (but make sure you have everything backuped first also this is a very last resort).

Well, I'll try to put in a different micro SD card and see if that works,  but otherwise I might have to restore my phone,  I don't have any other apps on there than the pre-loaded ones anyway.  Though I don't really understand this factory reset thing.  If you can, can you please explain it to me.  (Sorry I got my first android late last week, I'm not very knowledgeable)

I would love to find a fix.

Thanks for helping me,  It means a lot :D

Factory Setting will restore your phone back to ... when you first got it. If not backuped you will lose contacts/photos etc, hence a last resort but if it is a software issue that should fix your problem.

Well I try a different SD but if that doesn't work there may be no other option.

FWIW

Once you have sorted the microSD card issue it may be worth looking at Link2SD.
You do have to create a second partition on the SD card. I have a 1GB partition.

I am using it on my el cheapo X1 and Acer tablet.
The Huawei X1 currently has 247 apps all linked to the 32GB SD card.

Link2SD currently reports:
Internal storage is still at 157MB used and 72.8MB free.
SD Card 2nd Part 880MB Used

Everything works perfectly.
