First of all my S2 stopped receiving MMS (well it received but always failed to download) so I googled all sorts of ways of fixing this, nothing seemed to work. I tripled checked my APN info and was all correct. Called telecom who also confirmed everything was correct and they could said that a factory reset might fix the problem. Have not done that as it is really the last resort.

However, now my phone is even worse off! Every time I try and install an App the phone restarts itself and the app it not install. It scans for wifi networks but fails to connect even though it recognises and has the passkey saved.

Please help...this is driving me mad.

Haven't needed my bootcamp partition since buying Mobile Odin (and ROM Manager Premium) from Chainfire on the Play Store.

Get a 4.x ROM and leave your (likely) software troubles behind.

Back everything up and do a factory reset as Telecom suggested.
Then upgrade Android. Why are you still running on Gingerbread? The latest Android version for an SGS2 is ICS 4.0.4. Your OS is waaaayyyy out of date!

I've done a factory reset and still have the same problem. I've tried to upgrade to ics via kies but it says it can't...
