Anyone having trouble getting this app to activate? I downloaded this app from new, it texted me the code, but I got an invalid code error. I then followed the instructions and it called me with another code (one number more), but that too was rejected. When I try to get it to send me a new code, I get a page that says an error has occurred during the viber activation process, and it just loops back. It no longer sends me a code nor will phone me the code, and reinstalling the app makes no difference. There is no way to get support either from the app.

From Viber:

Momentarily we are experiencing some issues with service. This may affect registration, connectivity, and contact syncing. This is related to our hosting provider (Amazon) and is likely affecting many of their customers. -- Amazon is on it and we will update as soon as we know more

Seems to be fixed now though.

Thanks, that could be the reason then. Will try it again in a few days.

Hi everyone,
This is an official representative from Viber. We're here to offer direct support :)

There was a temporary server problem, caused by a major problem with Amazon's hosting servers, that affected many of our users. However, all should be working fine again now. Please test Viber again and make sure all is well now

For more questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,
the Viber Team.
