Anyone interested in this phone? Anyone got This phone? Thoughts? Anyone know where it can be purchased from? Is there or will there be a quad core version?
1. Nope. *cough*Samsung*cough*. 2. Surely (but 'why' would be the real question). 3. Review camera shots all look truly awful. Heavy. Good battery. 4. Its dual core.
Yeh I was looking at getting the Razr HD, just because it's a little bit thinner and still has an awesome battery.
Checked with Mobi City and also other parallel importers and none even seem to know about it which is weird.
Telstra in Aussie have them outright for $750 AUD, can't seem to find anyone else who stocks them. was going to get my mate to get me one and send it over... or a good excuse for a holiday?? ;-)
I like the fact it's a bit more 'techy' looking, not a fan of the S3 it's a bit boring looking.
http://www.telstra.com.au/latest-offers/motorola-razr-hd/index.htm looks to be a variant of the Moto razr maxx HD. I.e. 2500mAh battery (watch the video) and not the std 3300 quoted at http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_droid_razr_maxx_hd-4972.php . I'm planning to get some razr-maxx-hd's but even clove.co.uk don't have them yet. And the razr-maxx (old model) is out of stock.
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=5993 . So it is for sale now in the US. I'm going to wait for the importer-websites to stock them before I decide to get 1. The main reason I want one is that I work and travel where cell signal is weak and so my phone runs down in 3 - 6 hours. I interested to see if this does any better. I've used/tested many phones for different suppliers too, but not Moto. So we'll see.
Still really keen on this phone, but I still can't justify trading in the S3...which I want so I can get a slightly cheaper phone and use the difference to buy a Cowon Z2
Another option... http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/genuine-samsung-extended-battery-kit-for-galaxy-s3-3000mah-blue-p37556.htm . If it is genuine Samsung and it looks like it is by comments here... http://www.droid-life.com/2012/12/18/who-wants-a-65-official-3000mah-extended-battery-for-the-galaxy-s3/ . The 15 USD 4000mAh generic batteries are over-sized and half the promised life. So consider sticking with the GSIII and get and (expensive) over-sized battery? I'll get 1 for my wife next year. I'd be in trouble getting her 1 for Christmas!
