My LG Optimus 3D Max updated OTA to GRK39F a couple of days ago. This version was rolled out to the Nexus phones in September 2011.

I'm hoping it is a precursor to the Android v4.x update LG has been promising for Q4 for my phone.

Adding: I love the3D Max phone the way it is....and have Android 4.x on my HTC Sensation and Lenovo K1 tablet....so not in a huge hurry here for any updates unless they really add value.

I would put no stock in eta dates given by LG, my old optimus 2x was supposed to get Android 4.0 quite some time ago, it still hasn't happened.
I hope for other peoples sake that after the Nexus 4 was developed by LG and Google together that LG pull finger for the future and be a little timely about updates.
