Hi,

Has any one else experience the following intermittent problems with their phone?

-When you get a text, you don't fully hear the sound i.e the alert gets cut half way?
-Weird behaviour with regards to the screen, it goes a bit funny randomly? Sometimes black, I haven't been able to replicate it so far
-Sometimes you see partial black screen?

My phone is still under warranty so I can take it into the store..

Thanks!

All good, the update would be compatible with NL VF handset? Just to clarify it, since you have mentioned that it relates to JB.

Sorry mate, feel free to merge it!

there is a app in the google play that can set the volumes to a certain amount and it will
automute some volumes like media when a call happens.. perhaps try it out
cant recall the name

I havea cheap chinese S66 tablet poor wifi on it. but its also 4.04 and has a weird no screen function problem
down near the clock and status.. only way to clear it is click sleep button and wake it again
seems to happen on certain tablets.. nexus 7 its been reported on in the google forums
(speaking of which you could look there as well for a answer again dont have a link for it)

I suspect thats a OS / firmware/hardware bug its intermitant of course.. but will happen a few times a
a use not sure if thats a problem you have found..

but maybe a os upgrade will sort it? hard to know you still might have a bad device

I have found trying another launcher can reduce weird issues.. perhaps try the go launcher
or similar

some also suggest turning of some of the graphic features int he development
section of settings.. transition effects?

-When you get a text, you don't fully hear the sound i.e the alert gets cut half way?

This is caused when you have many messages from the person sending the text. Delete messages from the conversation and it will fix it.

And if you want to keep your messages, without having so many that the phone plays up, just grab the SMS+ app from the app store and back them all up to GMail. Then you can delete them from the phone.

That's cool aye! I didn't know that.. I only have like 25 messages in my inbox but each message has a long conversation. Thanks for the advise, I will look up that app and see.

Thanks John, loved playing on the note II. Very jealous of the multi window feature and s-pen preview... Can't wait.
