Hi all,

So I had a fairly rowdy night on Friday, and on Saturday I woke up to notice a new notification icon thingy in the top left hand part of my screen. Funny thing is, it doesn't say anything about it when I access the pull down menu, nor does it mention it anywhere else in the phones interface.

Has anyone else seen this icon before? I've had the phone for about a month now and have literally never come accross it before (at least not that I remember).

Special prize for the person who can figure it out!! Pics below

Note: Reserves the right to not actually issue a prize :P

I've had it before.

If I recall correctly it's when there are too many icons to display in the status bar, so that icon you see there is to indicate you have lots of notification icons. Not sure why there'd be nothing there tho when you swipe down.

Usually shows up when you have too many notifications to display.

Fairly sure it's when you've disabled notifications

Hmmm this is odd. I have never disabled notifications, but I have definitely had that icon when there's been lots of updates from the Play Store for example, that they can't all fit on that one line.

On a similar note, does anyone know what the eye looking symbol means? I've seen it a few times for a couple of seconds but haven't worked out what it means.

The eye symbol is the 'Smart Stay' feature where it looks to see if you are looking at the display.

If you are it stays on, if not it switches off.
