I think it comes down to intended usage. The Note is fantastic if you intend the tablet for writing or drawing. The trade-off is that the screen resolution is a fair bit less than the Prime.

well think there is more differences than that, Ram 2gb on Note 1 for Asus, CPU and GPU are different as well.

Actually they both have same res and PPI but different technology screens so will get down to a matter of taste.

I believe the Note also has newer software.

I bought the note 10.1 a while back over the Asus Infinity.

i wasnt happy with all the posts on XDA about the infinity performance, which on paper should have been great but in reality seemed to have performance issues/freezing etc back when i was deciding. i believe some of the issues were fixed via software updates but you should have a look for yourself.

The main thing lacking on the note 10.1 is a high def screen like the infinity or ipad and new nexus 10

most other things are really good, is pretty snappy, i dont use the pen at all on it, it plays movies well, flash works great on the inbuilt browser, pages load quickly and smoothly on the inbuilt browser, Chrome doesn't run well on this tablet, but this is googles fault not samsungs. better to just use the inbuilt browser or something like boat browser.

Personally if i was getting another tablet i would be looking at getting the Nexus 10 32GB version if you dont need inbuilt 3G.

yea its a pain the nexus 10 doesnt have a microSD so i would only buy the 32GB version,

id rather have the much better screen over the microSD anyway, i will definiatly get rid of the note 10.1 when i can get a 32GB nexus 10
